Baltra Passenger Ferry

Baltra Island, used as an airfield by the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII to protect the Panama Canal was returned to Ecuador after the war and remains the site of the main airport. These ferries transport people off the island and 300 yards away to Santa Cruz.
